What Is The Difference Between ‘Remy’ and ‘Virgin’ as Used in Hair Extensions?

Remy
Remy hair (also spelled Remi) refers to the arrangement of the hair cuticles when the hair is processed. It does not refer to a brand of hair and no company that sells hair extensions has exclusive rights to the name.  It means that when the hair is processed, care is taken to make sure that all the cuticles of the hair are facing the same direction. “Root to tip" as is used in the industry.
The beauty of Remy is that you get hair that looks very natural in appearance. Additionally, Remy hair is very soft, shiny, silky, tangle-free and lustrous. No wonder it is considered the best form of hair extensions. Premium hair is usually Remy hair.

How about ‘Virgin’ Hair?

You know what the word ‘virgin’ means: a person who has not had sexual intercourse. It also means: free of impurity or stain, unsullied. As is used in the hair industry, ‘virgin’ means that the hair was processed with no chemicals, free from impurity, yes, unsullied. It means the hair was processed in its natural beauty and form.
